The BIG-A Flush kit is designed to fit our sealcoat sprayer systems to allow easy clean-out of the hose and pump system with water. Whether you buy ours or build your own sealcoating maintenance flush kit, we HIGHLY recommend flushing your system regularly to prevent pump clogs and ensure proper pump pressure to minimize damage to internal components for sealcoat equipment longevity. A flush kit like this one goes inline between your tank and pump for easy flushing the system with water using a common garden hose.
In addition to being made for the BIG-A systems below, it can also be used as a universal asphalt spray system cleaning flush kit for any 2" NPT setup.

How often should you flush your system?
Well, if you owned a paint sprayer, how often would you flush it? Just like a paint sprayer, sealcoat systems need flushed to prevent buildup.
When you're done using your sealcoat spray system for the day, leaving material in the plumbing, hose and wand can lead to buildup and pre-mature equipment failure.

Instructions Overview
Installation usually goes behind the strainer, depending on your setup and preferences.
Once installed, you can forward flush through the pump, back flush to the tank or gravity feed from the tank out of the flush valve. You have options.
For pump flushing:
Hook up a garden hose to the flush valve, close the tank outlet valve and open the flush and pump valve.
Turn on the water and then run the pump until the plumbing is clean.
