Crack Jet II Professional Asphalt Hot Crack Cleaning Machine

As a road and parking lot pavement professional, you're probably well aware of the time and effort required to clean cracks in asphalt.  This is where the Crack Jet II flameless crack cleaning machine, steps in, providing up to 90 CFM of high-pressure air, mixed with a 2800º F heat source to clean out the debris and vegetation from cracks.  If you've ever used a wire wheel crack cleaner, you know just how dusty, dangerous, and flat-out annoying they can be.  The CrackJet II is different.  It forces high-pressure air into the crack and all of the dirt and debris is pushed away from the crack in one direction.

With the Crack Jet II providing a flameless heat source, it will easily burn off any vegetation from the cracks, generating some of the cleanest cracks you'll ever see.  The heat source also warms up the asphalt binder along the surface and down inside the crack, removing surface-level oxidation and etching the crack for filler.  By removing the oxidation, you create a clean surface for the crack filler to adhere to, ensuring a long-lasting bond between the filler and asphalt.  Since the CrackJet II is a flameless design, you don't have to worry about an open flame generating soot and carbon on the asphalt, but you do still need to make sure you move at a steady pace to ensure you don't scorch the asphalt surface while cleaning.

The CrackJet II is a portable walk-behind system, allowing you to go anywhere with it, making it an ideal solution for walking paths and bike trails where it would be difficult to maneuver a pickup truck carrying a compressor and hose for a product like our Hot Air Lance.  The Crack Jet II can also be operated in two modes, as a walk-behind unit or as a lancing unit where you can detach the heating wand and use it in free-form mode to clean off alligatored areas or cracks that aren't efficient to clean from pushing.

Weighing in at 225 lbs, the CrackJett II also comes with large pneumatic tires, making it easy to push on rough or incline surfaces.  The included heat lance is ignited by a self-contained, fully sealed replaceable electric igniter, making it a cinch to fire up, and comes with 25 ft of rubber hose, allowing you a lot of freedom to move around the machine. Not included, but recommended is a single (1) 30 lb propane bottle to get you plenty of usage with this machine.
