275 Gallon Bulk Tote Coal Tar Sealcoat Sealer

Regular use of a premium grade Asphalt Sealer will keep your asphalt parking lot or driveway in great shape for many years. Applying asphalt blacktop sealer every other year will ensure that your asphalt looks great, performs well and will not deteriorate due to weather or road salts and oils.

There are basically two asphalt sealer products readily available on the market today made for this purpose and we offer both. Coal Tar Sealer and Asphalt Emulsion. Asphalt Emulsion sealer is a little harder to find but much safer to handle, and it is gaining popularity because of it's Environmental Characteristics.

Both of these products are water based and can be applied with a Broom/Squeegee or sprayed using a Sealcoating Machine and both are easily diluted with water to create a 25% to 30% mixture. Sand can be added to both of the products as needed and sometimes can be purchased with sand pre-mixed into the asphalt sealer already.

The main purpose of using a quality blacktop asphalt sealer is that the sealer coats the asphalt driveway or parking lot, protecting it from harmful ultra violet as well as road salts and engine oils which dissolve the asphalt and creates soft spots. If untreated areas are ignored, deterioration will occur and you will end up spending a lot more money trying to patch and repair the driveway or parking lot asphalt compared to if you properly maintain it.

Our Premium asphalt sealer is premixed and comes ready to use in a 275 gallon refillable tote which includes a 2" valve on the bottom allowing you to pour the blacktop sealer into buckets for squeegee application. We also sell our ASD-PK Asphalt Sealcoat Spray Kit which comes with everything you need to connect to your own 275 gallon tote or sealcoating tank.

This is the same sealer that professionals use and it cannot be purchased in a "Big Box Store".

Precautionary measures should be taken if you're using Coal Tar because it contains ingredients (VOCs) that can burn the skin if not washed off quickly. We highly recommended that you wear long pants, sleeves and eye protection when applying our premium grade Asphalt Sealer and always have fresh water available on the job site.

Preparation/Application:

Thoroughly clean and remove all debris from the driveway or parking lot needing resealed by using an asphalt scraper and pavement blower, preparing all cracks and filling with a quality Asphalt Crack Filler.

Our asphalt sealer diluted at 25%, will create coverage at approximately 100 square feet per gallon and you should apply two coats to the driveway or parking lot, allowing the first coat to dry before applying the second coat.

If you are using a sealcoat broom or applying with a squeegee, use a high quality Sealcoater Squeegee at least 24" or a Sealcoater Broom which is designed for this purpose. Make sure to keep the broom or squeege in water between applications because will keep the tool moist and pliable for your second coat.
