10 gallon melter Replacement Valve

This 10 gallon melter valve is designed to replace both of the tubular valve assembly's on our 10 and 15 gallon crack melter systems.

This kit includes both the inside and outside of the valve and uses 1-1/4" NPT threads that screw into the female coupling in the kettle.

Minor welding is required to re-weld the tube to the lower brace for permanent installation.

These valves are machined to fit as a kit and we highly recommend that both parts be replaced as an assembly at the same time

This style of melter valve has a tendency to seep during operation and this is normal because of the nature of the design.

This is because there are no seals between the inner and outer pipes, and tolerances can be as much as 1/32 to allow for free movement during operation.

This style of 10 Gallon Melter valve is extremely durable and will last several years and may never need to be replaced because of their durability as long as there not damaged, which is usually what happens.

This valve may fit other similar style melter as well, and minor fabrication will be required.
