Airport Titan's white TR1 line striping tip has seen an overhaul over the older SC-6 line striping tips. With an improved spray pattern, you'll see less overspray and better consistency over the lifetime of the tip. The SC-6 line striping tip is officially retired in favor of the white TR1.
In combination with better spray patterns, the TR1 line striping tip now offers a much better part number system. You no longer have to fumble through the weird part numbers to find the right tip because the TR1 now has a uniform part number system that is much easier to read and understand. For example, a 697-417 is simply the TR1 with a 4" width and 0.017 orifice.
We sell the Titan TR1 line striping tip as a 3 pack. You will receive THREE paint gun tips. This package is the perfect solution for hardcore line stripers because tips typically wear out after you put 100 gallons of paint through them and you're far better off getting the best bang for your buck buying in bulk.
This product includes the tip guard seal and anchor. (Tip guard not included)
Choosing the right tip is really pretty easy. First off, figure out the fan width that you want to spray. For parking lines the width is a standard 4". If you do a lot of big stencils, you might want a wider fan width such as the 6" or even 8".
Next you'll need to choose the right orifice. For line striping, you should be pretty safe with a .019 orifice size. The different sizes for the orifice are designed for different viscosity or thickness of material being sprayed. A thin material like a highly diluted field marking paint would need a really small orifice like 0.013 to maintain the right consistency. As a rule of thumb, the thicker the material, the larger the orifice needs to be.
For online orders, you can only choose this as a "same tip size" pack. This means you will get three of the same tips. If you need to mix and match, you can always leave a comment for the order during checkout where you can specify different tip sizes. Make sure you specify that you want to "MIX MATCH TR1 TIPS".

We don't have a comprehensive compatibility list for all the competitors guns, but we do know the TR1 will universally fit most of the Graco and Airlessco line striping spray guns.
