Description
Filling asphalt cracks can quickly become a messy, wasteful project if you are trying to pour rubberized crack filler directly from a standard bucket or bottle, often leading to excess material on the pavement surface.
The Gingway handheld 2.6-gallon square Asphalt Crack Filler Pour Pot offers a clean, efficient way to apply both Hot Rubberized and Cold Crack Fillers directly into pavement joints. Here at Asphalt Sealcoating Direct, we offer several asphalt maintenance solutions, and this hand-held pour pot is an excellent, reliable choice for precision application.
By upgrading to a square design, this pour pot increases its carrying capacity by 30% over the traditional round design—all without increasing the product's overall exterior dimensions or footprint.
Premium Construction and Features
Built in the USA and made from heavy-gauge steel, the Gingway square pour pot features a convenient stand-up design and a precise fingertip control valve. It holds a full 2.6 gallons of hot or cold crack filler. To give you complete control over your material flow, it also includes a 1-inch to 1/2-inch 90º elbow and a 1/2-inch to 3/8-inch straight reducer.
This 2.6-gallon pour pot is perfectly sized to pair with one of our Flex Kettles for quick, seamless refills on the job.
In your hands, the tool feels incredibly sturdy. The welds are exceptionally clean and professional compared to alternative models on the market. The plunger seats perfectly into the square funnel opening, and the entire actuation system is smoothly guided to keep the control rod perfectly straight.
For added convenience, a small notch in the handle bracket aligns with a small rod protruding from the plunger. This allows you to lock the pour pot in an open position for easy storage or hanging.
Operating Instructions
To use the 2.6-gallon pour pot, simply fill it with your melted hot or cold-applied crack sealant. Guide the pot along the crack while maintaining a height of roughly 2 to 4 inches above the pavement, dispensing just enough material to slightly overfill the joint.
Once the material is down, use an Asphalt Crack Squeegee to smooth and trim the excess filler. This creates a clean, 3-inch wide rubberized band that seals out moisture and debris. If desired, you can lightly sprinkle sand over the wet joint to improve traction and dull the glossy finish so the repair blends in naturally with the surrounding asphalt.
Maintenance
Clean-up is straightforward. Simply warm the pour pot with a torch to melt away any built-up rubber, allowing it to drain out of the bottom orifice.
