Some squeegee sealcoaters buy sealer by the 5 gallon bucket for ease of use. They don't have the expensive forklift equipment or floor space normally needed to handle larger volumes of sealer. But what if there was a way of being able to buy the larger volumes of sealer and moving it around, without buying a fork lift? Well, there is an easier way! Drum dollys make light work of moving 55 gallon drums of sealer. No more man handling those 500 - 600 lb drums.

This drum dolly model is perfect for moving 30 gallon up to 55 gallon barrels around in your garage or shop. If you have a low flatbed trailer, you could even use this dolly to roll the drum onto it and use one of our portable spray systems for spraying the material. It comes with an adjustable (and replaceable) sliding "chime" hook that is universally unique to secure the top of either a steel, fiber or plastic drum. Since it's retractable, it will handle various heights of drums, making this dolly extremely versatile. Specifically this drum dolly can handle between 26 to 48 inch high drums.

Also featured with this drum dolly is a footrest that is positioned to help with getting the dolly positioned under the drum. It eases the break-over and also helps serve as a safety mechanism.

The axle is spring loaded to help ease the drum onto the lifting toes. This also ensures the dolly will return to it's vertical position when the drum has been disengaged by the chime hook.

The wheels are a Mold on Rubber wheel with an aluminum caster. Due to the nature of this wheel, we recommend using this drum dolly on smooth surfaces like concrete or asphalt in a garage or warehouse.
