ASD-ACL: The ASD Asphalt Crack Lance

The ASD-ACL Asphalt Crack Lance is our latest addition to our hot asphalt crack cleaning equipment line. This incredible compact but powerful asphalt crack lance cleans and dries the asphalt crack, preparing it for Hot Crackfiller or Cold Crack Filler.

Unlike other heat lances, this hot asphalt crack cleaner uses separate fuel and air sources giving the operator maximum control of air pressure and heat output.

Our ASD asphalt crack lance delivers an unbelievable blast of 500,000 BTU's of fire and operates on air pressures ranging from 100 to 150 CFM.

This lance can also be used to apply thermoplastic pavement stencils as well.

It's easy to deep clean asphalt cracks with this asphalt crack cleaner because the air tip is only 5/8", allowing deep high pressure cleaning.

The three wheel push-pull cart allows for one man operation and we even include a handy pull rod allowing you to pull the cart as you clean the crack. The heat Lance is easily stored in the hooks provided on the cart.

Combine the etching effect you get with the intense heat and the high pressure air blast and you can imagine how effective this asphalt crack lance can be.

Another important feature of the ASD-ACL is the capability of having a portable industrial air compressor on the job site for other asphalt repair tasks.

When compared to air cleaning only, nearly any asphalt repair professional will tell you that cleaning asphalt cracks using an asphalt crack lance will out perform "air only" crack cleaning, this is because an air compressor can actually blow moisture from the compressor tank into the crack.

By super heating the crack, you virtually dry out the crack and heat the asphalt to allow for optimal sealer adhesion.
