The asphalt thermometer we sell is used in various crack melting kettles and applicators. This asphalt thermometer is a standard 3/4" NPT thread type that is common across many push melters and stationary kettles in the industry, making it a great universal replacement product for other manufacturers of melters if you can't find an exact replacement part.
The thermometer measures up-to 650º F which is perfectly inline with the temperatures that most crack fillers need for proper melting and flow.
