The Marshalltown pot hole tamper is designed to tamp asphalt hot mix and cold patch material into pot holes or depressed areas of asphalt and can also be used with cold concrete patch such as the Crafco HP Concrete Patch material.

This pothole tamp is the perfect companion for manual tamping of the pot hole patching material we sell.

The entire Marshalltown tamp is an all steel construction with a welded on tamp head that measures 8" square and includes.  Weighing in at 8 lbs, the 48" steel handle is hollow, allowing you to fill it with sand for added weight.
