Made from EPDM rubber with a synthetic braiding for extreme durability, the Kanaflex 390SD suction/discharge hose is also wrapped with a polyethylene helix for maximum rigidity and flexibility.

Working with the hose to shave off some length can be done with a box knife or hack saw.  The rubber will cut just fine with a box knife but the helix coil might be a little tougher.  Be sure to use extreme caution when trimming these hoses with a knife or other similar tools.
