The best way to repair cracks in asphalt is using of hot rubberized crackfiller applying a band-aid on the crack that overlaps the crack a few inches which minimizes the moisture leaking under the new crackfiller.

These two pieces of equipment are easy to load and unload, and most of the time you will not have to unload the kettle, simply roll your crack bander under the hydrant and easily fill the kettle.
